Sun Pharma invited top cardiologists from 18 different cities—Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cuttack, Delhi, Ernakulam, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Madurai, Mumbai, Nagpur, Patna, Pune and Trivandrum—to hotels in their respective cities to attend the address by Dr. Ridker. Four other Reliance World locations in Agra, Jallandhar, Kanpur and Meerut also served as participating venues for the CME programme.
We are really thankful to your entire Video Conferencing and Webcasting team for conducting the CME programme flawlessly. It has definitely grown our confidence in a magnified fashion on leveraging the technology for our regular CME programmes.
I specifically want to appreciate your genuine efforts in replying to our queries related to technology. And, whatever we suggested in the preparation for the entire program, your team was very prompt in executing.
Your service level has encouraged us to do more such programmes in the future.
Thanking all of you once again.”

Reliance World's Video Conferencing was used to connect InterContinental The Grand Hotel, Mumbai to Harvard Medical School, Boston from where Dr. Ridker shared his views on the JUPITER trial—the advancements made, results, implications and how the trail helped 17,802 patients overcome their different coronary complications.
More than 50 leading cardiologists including the well-known Dr. Jamshed Dalal participated in the CME programme over VC from Mumbai and over 300 cardiologists watched a webcast of the entire event from their respective cities. Reliance World's Webscasting service was used to webcast the Video Conference live to the 17 hotels where the doctors had gathered.

Seven Hills Hospital broadcasts live surgeries

SevenHills Hospital, Visakhapatnam in association with Children's Heart Link, Minneapolis, USA, AGA Medical Corporation organised a live workshop on Catheter Interventions for Congenital Heart Diseases on 13th June, 2010.

Reliance World's Video Conferencing and Webcasting services were used to connect the host location—a state-of-the-art, high-end Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory in SevenHills hospital, Visakhapatnam—and broadcast the surgeries live to the other six locations where the doctors had convened.
The event was webcast live to six different hotels across Andhra Pradesh and Orissa. Around 150 paediatric cardiologists from Visakhapatnam, Srikakulam, Kakinada, Rajahmundry, Vijayawada and Bhubaneswar were invited to the designated venue to watch the surgeries live.
The purpose of the workshop was to illustrate the scope of catheter interventions for congenital heart defects. Catheter interventions have revolutionised the management of congenital heart disease and a number of congenital heart defects are now being treated in the cardiac catheterization laboratory without the need for cardiac surgery.
Six children with different types of congenital heart diseases were part of the workshop.
It was a unique educational opportunity for the participants who not only had the chance to watch the complex surgeries live but also interact with the surgeons during the Q&A session. Dr. R. Krishna Kumar MD DM FACC FAHA, Chief of Pediatric Cardiology, SevenHills Hospital, Visakhapatnam and Mumbai and Dr.(Col) Harminder Singh MD DM FACC, Consultant-Interventional Cardiologist, SevenHills Hospital, Mumbai answered specific questions related to the cases, and explained the techniques and procedures used.
