What does the Reliance World Managed VC service cover?

The Reliance World Managed VC service is a bundled offering that includes video conferencing equipment, VPN connectivity and Reliance World usage hours. The VC equipment and the VPN connectivity is installed in the client’s office and maintained by Reliance World.
The client will need to provide the visual display unit, i.e., plasma, LCD or TV with speakers and UPS power.
What is the bandwidth you offer?

The standard bandwidth offered is 384 kbps. However, the same can be scaled up to 2 mbps at a cost.
Do you provide Managed VC service across the country?

Our Managed VC service can be made available at any site that is feasible for providing the VPN connectivity. Once we receive your request for a Managed VC service, our team will assess the feasibility of VPN connectivity at the site where you require the service before presenting a proposal for implementation.
Do you provide Managed VC service on third party network?

It depends on the network and will need to be ascertained on a case-to-case basis.
Do you offer customised Managed VC service for multiple site installations?

Yes. Please submit your request for a Managed VC service and one of our VC executives will contact you for to discuss and design the optimum solution for you.
Can I connect to a non-Reliance World location by using my Managed VC equipment and connectivity?

Yes. By using Reliance World’s bridging services, you can connect to any ISDN or Public IP Video Conferencing site anywhere in the world.

Can I avail of your Managed VC service without utilising the Reliance World VC rooms?

Our Managed VC service offering is a bundled one and usage of Reliance World VC rooms is, by default, part of the package.
Do I have to pay for point-to-point VCs between two of my Managed VC sites?

No. Point-to-point VCs between two Managed VC locations are not charged.
Will I be charged for multipoint VCs between my Managed VC sites?

Yes, multipoint VCs are scheduled and facilitated by the Reliance World VC bridge. Hence, bridging services and port charges for each site will need to be paid.
How can I efficiently use the Managed VC in my office for ISDN VC?

Following are some of the things you could do to help minimise downtime on ISDN VCs from your office:
1. Do a site certification with our bridge before booking a video conference.
2. Check your ISDN lines every morning by making a test call to any of your other sites on ISDN.
3. Ensure that STD is enabled on your ISDN lines.
4. Provide the name and contact number of your technical person while booking your conference. This will help in troubleshooting ISDN problems, if any.
